As a Positive Psychology Practitioner, I'm often asked what the secret to happiness ‘really is’. And my answer is simple: everyone already has the answer. Yes, you read that right - everyone, already. Whether you're someone who's feeling stuck and uncertain about your life, or someone who's constantly seeking out more - more adventure, more challenge, more… something! I believe that we all already have the answer, and it is this: you have possibility. The possibility to live a more meaningful life.

But what does this mean, exactly? And how can we tap into this potential for happiness?

My approach is centred around helping individuals build awareness and develop strategies to manage life's challenges… or should I say, realities. I believe that by acknowledging and accepting what we perceive as ‘life happening to us’, we can begin to move forward from being stuck to realising our own agency over our own lives. And it's not just about the pursuit of happiness - it's about cultivating a sense of purpose and direction that builds towards more fulfilment. It's about getting over that ‘life is messy’, and that we're all going to have to face up to some ‘it’s complicated’s along the way. But it's also about recognizing that we have the power to choose - to choose how we act, to choose how we show up, to choose how we do this thing called life.

So, what does this all look like in practice? Together, we'll explore targeted areas that encompass what it means to be a whole human. We'll talk about connectedness - to ourselves, others, and the natural world. We'll explore what gives you meaning and purpose, and how you can use them to guide yourself towards a life that you actually want to live!

Ultimately, the big secret already lies within you. By embracing your ability to be curious and dig in a little deeper (to knowing you), you can choose how you navigate whatever it is that you’ve got going on.
